When the one you love most asks why you love them... where do you start? How can you form the words to express something you have never felt before... something you have never known? All I can muster is "I just do"... and I feel so foolish. When I see him, hear his voice, smell him... nothing else matters. I feel like he is all there is in the world. No stress, no worry, no pain... just me and him. How do I explain that without sounding like I have lost my mind. How do I explain that I barely know him but if he asked me to I would give my life for him without a second thought. Little things don't matter... the bands we like or the way we like the house set up... or if all the doorways have hematite over them or not... it doesn't matter. All that matters is in the end I am in his arms... and looking in to his eyes. I wish he could understand the depth of what I feel, he wouldn't even be able the fathom that I could possibly have interest in anyone else. I didn't ask for this, I didn't want this. It is in my nature but i isn't what I was searching for. This was all a surprise that I tried to fight it tooth and nail.
Why do I love him? He makes the best of things. He has had one of the most tormented lives I have heard of, and he has suffered so much... yet he makes me smile. I just want to give him the world. Never let him hurt, never cause him pain. He deserves that, at the very least. For him I will be what I have never been before... selfless. In the name of true love.
